SSR on a Japanese F3000

At More-Japan we are all about looking good while going fast, so naturally when a picture of a Formula car with SSR wheels comes up, we have to post it. This particular Formula car dates from the early 90′s Formula 3000 series. Today’s F3000 is a LOLA T90-50 raced by the Advan Neova team around 1993-1994.Advan SSR LOLAPhoto Credit: 昨日の記憶

I have always enjoyed 90s formula-car aerodynamic styling. From the big cooling ducts down to the minor shaping lines, everything serves an important purpose. After all, these cars do produce so much downforce that they can drive upside down.Advan SSR LOLA stickersPhoto Credit: ♪ ☆ withdrawal @ Moco Moco

Tall person problems…

We all know that one really tall guy who can’t fit in his car with a helmet on (or off for that matter) and when you are that guy, it’s annoying having to tilt your head to one side because you’re pressed up against the headliner. And let’s face it, nobody wants to have to resort to this to fit in their car.Too tall!

So how do you get yourself to fit normally? Why Nagisa Auto Super Low seat rails of course! They sit lower than any other aftermarket seat rail so that you won’t have to cut up your roof to fit in your car.BC vs Nagisa

Above is a comparison of BC type (passenger side) and Nagisa Auto (driver side). The difference is more than noticeable! So don’t worry about fitting in your car anymore, Nagisa Auto has got your back… er… head.

Nagisa Auto seat rails are available on More-Japan at:

Gone Car…

Man… I gotta get this damn LS swap finished. Should’ve just left the car alone, the rotary setup ran great, no issues. Been over 3 years since I drove it lol. People have told me it’s like a phantom car because they’ve heard about it, seen pictures but have never seen it in person. It’s like it doesn’t even exist. It’s been hiding in its cave(garage) for years now!

How many of you remember 1999? Worrying about Y2K (or the millenium bug), Bill Clinton getting impeached, or the first ever Spongebob Squarepants episode on Nikelodeon..

One of the biggest things to happen in my life in 1999 was the tuning car boom. A time filled with street racing mischief and Lambo doors. We’re actually not too far off from that nowadays. So let’s take a look back into 1999. Photos courtesy of Super Street.Drag FD RX7That’s one heck of a RX-7! It’s also surrounded by huge trophies! How does one transport a trophy that large home? But that’s just the beginning…
