New Revel Site is LIVE!

Be sure to check the site for info on the Revel VLS gauges as including the 2 new gauges (Dual Temp Intercooler Gauge and Voltmeter)!

New Revel VLS Intercooler Dual Temp Gauge

Revel VLS Intercooler Dual Temperature Gauge

MSRP $268.00

The Revel VLS Intercooler Dual Temperature gauge monitors both entrance and exit air temperatures of the intercooler to allow for accurate readings while tuning the vehicle. The dual LED outer rings allow for quick glances of the air temperatures during driving. The VLS Intercooler Dual Temperature gauge monitors readings from 50 ºF up to 300 ºF. The air intake temperature sensors in 3/8 NPT thread pitch are included for installation, however weld-in bungs of the appropriate material for the intercooler piping are required and not included in this kit.

*The Revel VLS Intercooler Dual Temperature gauge is not daisy-chain compatible.

The dual temperature reading is achieved by installing the air temperature sensors on the piping of both the entrance side and exit side of the intercooler. The IN TEMP sensor is installed on the piping after the turbo and before the intercooler, and the OUT TEMP sensor is installed on the piping after the intercooler and before the engine intake.

Visit the Revel VLS site for more info!

Nausheed’s R32 GTR

We came across an article on Pixeltoon covering a beautiful BNCR32 from New Zealand. We love the simple exterior look of the car and slew of JDM goodies found on it. We also noticed it was running a SARD Fuel Pressure Regulator to manage fuel flow to the heart of the beast. The SARD FPR is a favorite among tuners for the reliability and longevity which is something you want in a FPR. Please check out the full article on their site here.

For more information on the SARD FPR, please check More Japan.

Pomona Swapmeet

A couple weekends ago I was asked to go to the Pomona Swapmeet. It’s hard to believe that I’ve never been to this since I grew up loving all sorts of cars and even had a 70 Chevelle at one point. I’ve been to the Long Beach swapmeet but it is so much smaller in comparison to the Pomona one. As with all events of this nature, it’s one that starts very early in the morning and we had to meet up at 5:45am to head out and the lot was already full when we got there by 6:45am.  Here are a few pics I took with my phone of some of the cars in the lot.

Drift Garage New Season

Season 4 of Network A’s “Drift Garage” featuring 2016 Formula Drift Champion & SSR Wheels Sponsored Driver Chris Forsberg and his good friend (also a Formula Drift Pro driver) Ryan Tuerck is back for a new season with all new antics, great builds, and useful information. In this first episode they transform a “beater” Nissan 240sx into a serious drift missle, built at Chris’s very own house in southern California!

Japanese Cruise-In Meet at Petersen Automotive Museum

The Petersen Automotive Museum and Superstreet are throwing another Japanese Cruise-In and Tech Day meet this weekend! I honestly don’t know why they call it a Tech-Day because this event was originally for Formula D Drivers to bring their competition cars in for Tech Inspection and they figured hey might as well make a meet out of it. But now there’s no Tech Inspections going on so just call it a Japanese Cruise-In… Parking will be scarce so make sure you get there early! The Museum has lots of cool stuff to look at and the Vault Tour is Awesome, I’ve been once before and would love to go again to see what’s changed. For more info, check the Facebook event page here.
