Signal Auto “Twin 180SXs”, ten years ago.

Remember the twin orange 180SXs that Signal Auto built over a decade ago? Who am I kidding, of course you do – the metallic orange paint with the legendary “Splash” graphics, the painted headlight delete inserts, whatever happened to these amazing machines? It sure doesn’t feel that long ago, but time stops for nobody, not even iconic drift cars. I’m sure many of you who are drifting enthusiasts in your mid 20′s can relate when I say that these cars heavily influenced our styling choices as teenagers. Today I would like to share with you some photos taken in 2003 – soon after their completion. Both cars were equipped with Tanabe‘s full line of suspension components, from coilovers to pillow ball adjustable arms and stabilizer bars, most of which have since been discontinued (the stabilizer bars are still available). Moving onto the photos, taken in front of somebody’s house in Osaka, 2003.
