Throwback Thursday. Remember when 9 seconds for an import was like first stepping on the moon? The iconic Tanabe/Signal Auto’s Chopped Civic achieved such a feat by beating most front wheel drive drag cars and immortalizing it in import drag racing history. The Chop Top Civic #1 ran a best of 9.97 sec. 1/4 mile. While the sibling Chop Top #2 ran a best of 9.74 sec. 1/4 mile.
