Thai Curry & Spiders

The other day, a friend and I decided to try out this new Thai restaurant called President Thai. The new spot is located inside Diamond Plaza in Rowland Heights, California. Originally located in San Marino, President Thai is known for legit traditional Thai cuizine and is popular amongst people who know what good Thai food tastes like. Here’s what I think.

This is the dish I ordered — Chicken Panang Curry with a Thai Iced Tea to wash it down. My verdict: ultra delicious! :) Here’s how you can tell when you’re eating good Thai food: When the waitress (or waiter) asks you how spicy you want your food, and no matter what you say, it always comes out super spicy, that’s how you know it’s legit to the bone. But besides just being spicy, the dish was very tastey, and it came with a few side-dishes and sauces that aren’t served at other more-typical Thai restaurants. To top it off, the spiciness of the meal didn’t force me to “run to the border” after digestion. Delicious spicy food without the runs — a win-win-win situation. If you’re ever in Rowland Heights and you’ve got the hunger pains, don’t forget to check out President Thai. ;)

When I got to work today, this guy was “hangin’ out” on the shelf by my desk. Not sure what he was up to — maybe he knew that I brought a peanut butter jelly sandwich with me to the office. He looked a little dusty, so I sprayed him with Windex to clean him off.

He ran away after that.

Then, about 10 minutes later, I looked to my left, and there he was again under my computer monitor. What a sneaky guy. Soon after, he ran away again.

Now I live in constant fear of this ninja spider and its ninja clan.
