Friday, August 13th, 2010HEART ATTACK OF DOOM!!!!
So I had the chance to eat a hybrid of Korean BBQ and Pizza in Rowland Heights at a place called Pizza and Chicken Love Letter…. I must say it was quite delicious!!! A very nice twist. They even have a sweet potato pizza!! If you order the combo, you get an order of wings, a pizza, and a liter of coke! The food is reasonably priced too! I had the Bulgogi pizza, and the sweet potato pizza, and original and some sweet wings. Which tasted better pizza-wise? Of course, the one I took a picture of!!!!

To top off that delicious Korean BBQ pizza and wings…. I went back to my friends for dessert…..
….a chocolate squirrel on top of vanilla ice cream and apple pie!!!!!!
Hahaha it looked like the squirrel is saying “Don’t eat me!!!”

BBQ Guest Mao-chan

Last weekend’s bbq, we had a special guest. I guess she smelled my excellent cookings and decided to stop by. She has good taste I see! This is the black cat from I don’t know where. Some part of my neighborhood I guess. But friendly and nice kitty.
I fed her some potato salad. It is good for the growing feline I hope! :3
She has eaten it all! 0_0
This is Mao-chan. After finishing her potato salad, she tried to eat some of mine, but I wouldn’t let her… because I was hungry too ^_^. So, she stayed a while to play and let people pet her. Then, when it was time to clean up, she left and went home to someplace. Bye bye, See you next time!

Mini Weekend Beef Rib BBQ
Monday, August 2nd, 2010Since my car’s still at the body shop, and I can’t really get anywhere, I decided to just stay at home and have a little bbq in the backyard. Ralphs was having a special on ribs… I was all over that. So yeah… while I didn’t have a car, I DID have a piece of junk bicycle. While it sucked, my trusty pile was sturdy enough to take me to the grocery store to pick up the goods.
So, with my left hand holding a bag of charcoal and the left handle bar… and my right arm cradling a couple lbs. of beef ribs, I biked a couple of miles with Paul Wall and Tommy the Burgers to the local supermarket. Mission accomplished!
Still cookin’… I heard you’re supposed to cook ribs slowly, so I pushed all the charcoal to one side of the grill, with the ribs sitting above the cooler side.
Now, I’m no expert on ribs… but damn, they came out pretty decent! Small bbq fun times! *wipes sweat off forehead* Man… so out of shape… I ought to do this more often! Come by next time if you’d like to join us on our next bbq bicycling journey
