JUN Lash Killer Kit for Nissan SR20DE, SR20DET

The JUN Lash Killer Kit replaces the factory lash type lifters with solid lifter pivots, which reduces the amount of moving parts in the engine. This improves reliability of the motor for high power applications. "Solid Type" camshafts must be used with this kit.

One of the main weaknesses in the SR20DET is in it's valvetrain. The factory valvetrain uses hydraulically activated (through oil pressure) lash type lifters that consist of many moving parts that were originally designed to reduce noise, but not for performance. When power output is increased in the SR20DET, the the factory valvetrain can often fail.

The Lash Killer kit replaces the factory lash type lifters with solid lifters which are much more reliable at higher power and rpm levels.

Solid Type camshafts will need to be used, as the factory camshaft's lobes are designed for factory lash type lifters.

This is a recommended upgrade for those who wish to produce high amounts of power from the SR20DET reliably.

**PLEASE NOTE**
SR20DE and SR20DET heads that switch from lash type to solid lifters are recommended to also change the valvetrain to RNN14 Pulsar GTi-R rocker arms, pivots, rocker guide, rocker shaft retainers, rocker valve springs and shims.

Pivot washers are not necessary with this kit.

It is possible to adopt factory items for valve retainers and valve springs.
